Valentine’s Day is fast approaching and if you’re anything like me you leave everything to the last minute. So if you’re scratching around trying to think of the perfect gift for your travel-loving partner then look no further. I’ve got suggestions large and small in this Valentine’s Day Travel Gift Guide.
Unisex Gifts
World Scratch Map
Ticking off where you’ve travelled to is both satisfying and interesting. What better way to do than visually using a scratch map? Simply use a coin to scratch away the countries you’ve visited and watch as the colours underneath begin to emerge. I like this scratch map in particular as the colours are pastel shades and suit any decor.
Canon Powershot G7 X MARK II
This is hands down one of the best vlogging cameras on the market at the moment. It’s great for beginners and and really easy to use. Rather on the pricey side for a gift maybe, but this camera is an investment. I’ll keep this short and sweet as everyone is raving about this camera at the moment. Just read the reviews for yourself!
Canon EOS M50
I didn’t really want to include two cameras in this gift guide but I couldn’t mention to G7 Mark ii without mentioning it’s best competitor, the EOS M50. This camera is the next level up. It’s slightly more expensive than the mark ii but with extra features and the ability to use an external mic and swap the lenses this is the camera for the more experience photographer/videographer. If you’re in to travel it might be worth investing at this level for some really great cinematic features.
Portable Charger
Ok so this gift doesn’t exactly say ‘I love you’ but it’s practical. And sometimes practicality wins, right? And it’s a gift you can both use. This is easily one of the best portable chargers on the market. It has a large capacity and the little screen lets you know how long the charge has left. How handy is that?
Gifts For Her
Want to get your girl that special gift? This Valentine’s Day Travel Gift Guide has a few suggestions which are sure to win you some brownie points!
Overnight Bag
Need an overnight bag and can’t quite afford a Louis Vuitton? Well I’ve found you the perfect dupe. It’s a cute design and has an extendable handle and wheels to use it as a wheelie case instead. No need to worry about taking heavy shoes with you anymore! What convenient carrying! It’s a great size too, making it one of my personal favourites. What more is there to say? It’s gorgeous!
Ted Baker Passport Holder & Luggage Tag
Ted Baker is one of my favourite brands so when I saw this passport holder and luggage tag set I couldn’t not include it in this Valentine’s Day Travel Gift Guide. Not only useful but super cute too, this matching set is a must for the fashionable traveller. Luggage tags are great especially because if your case is plain black like 95% of the people out there, this will make your case stand apart. Hello easy baggage reclaim!
Silk Sleep Mask
A good sleep mask can be hard to come by. After all, comfort is everything. Too tight, too loose, too rough – we’ve all experienced these problems in the past. So what better than silk? In a cute pastel pink shade you’ll be onto a winner with this satin-smooth sleep mask.
Gifts For Him
Gifts for him are always a challenge but here’s some ideas to make you think shopping for Valentine’s Day just got easier!
Men’s Wash Bag
Everyone needs one. Again, it’s a practical gift, but probably not one he’d buy himself. This men’s wash bag is made from PU leather and has a water resistant lining. It comes with a handy hook for easy access and a variety of refillable bottles to dispense your liquids into. What more could a man want?
Duffle Bag
This holdall is practical and stylish. With compartments for all your stuff (and we all know how much men love pockets) this is a great option for a travel bag. It’s a great size for a few nights away and looks pretty darn good if you ask me.
Leather Bound Travel Journal
Finally a decent PU leather travel journal. Complete with card holder insert and zipper pocket this journal can be used as a wallet too. Keep your bank cards, passport, phone, cash and pen all together with your keepsakes. This gift just screams thoughtful.
Best Valentine’s Day Travel Gifts
So that’s wrap. A round up of the best travel gifts for him, her and both. Have you got any other suggestions? Make sure to let me know!
Perhaps you’ve got a trip coming up. If so, make such you’ve got all the travel sized toiletries you need!
