Best time to visit:
Summer
Best time to visit: Although the summer can be busy the Spanish islands aren’t overly far south so you’ll want to stay pretty on-peak to get the best weather. Though if you’re looking to explore Palma then an off-peak city break might be the way to go!
Safety: Mallorca is a very safe place, like a lot of Western Europe. The only thing to be on the lookout for is pickpockets, as with all busy towns and cities.
Tipping: 10% is the customary tip rate
Cash & ATMs: You can pay by card at almost all supermarkets, restaurants and tourist destinations and there are ATMs in every major town.
